Our Process
Free Estimate & Design
At Corbella, we are happy to provide you with a free estimate and design for one space. We do have a limit of one free estimate per new customer, so we can complete estimates in a timely manner. Contracted customers are prioritized over potential customers, which is something you will appreciate when you become our customer!
In Home Consult
We feel it is important to visit each site to know what we are working with. We like to meet people in their homes so we can get an idea of who you are, and you can get an idea of who we are. Since these projects are so personal, we find this initial meeting most important. First, a Corbella representative will come to your home and measure the space you’re looking to remodel, whether it’s your kitchen, bathroom, or closet. During this time, we’ll ask about your vision for the space and learn about your style. Following this appointment the office will contact you to schedule the initial review.
Initial Review
All appointments are either by email and phone or at our showroom. If you want to see the drawings, you must come in.
This step is where we put everything together and you can tear it apart. We tell most of our customers that there is a good chance we will not get it 100% on the first try. Sometimes, what is discussed in the home consultation doesn’t translate well into reality. This is our time to look at what you initially visualized and make adjustments for your new vision. Have fun with it! There is no pressure at this consultation, and Corbella has no salespeople.
Revision Appointment
The revision appointment is where we present the revised estimate and drawings with all the changes that we went over in the initial review. You will decide whether we have earned your trust and respect and if you would like to choose us for your project. If you decide we are a good fit for you, then you move on to contracts and selections.
Contract & Selections
We will make an appointment for you to sign the contract and make your selections. Your deposit is due on this day. Once all choices are complete, we will immediately move to ordering and scheduling.
The Work Begins
Your scheduled start date is set based on the furthest out item. All projects take 6-10 weeks to complete from the day we start construction. It doesn’t mean you will be out of your space for that long. It just means we might be waiting on one item that could be back-ordered, warranty items, or something that came in damaged. With today’s supply chain issues, we do our best to keep your job on track.
Our Subcontractors
Corbella is a small family-run company that creates relationships with our customers. Because we are a small company, there are some large projects that we cannot do, such as whole-house flooring and whole-house painting. This means that you may get an incomplete estimate, but we will not leave you hanging. We have subcontractors we work with that we will offer if you sign with us. Not only will this save you money, but you also know you are getting a good subcontractor.
